Getting Started
Launch, Register, and Start Selling
Point of sale in a café or restaurant can be implemented in two ways.

Launch smartid CAFE App on the POS Device.

Register Business Name, Super Admin Email, Mobile Number and Password (Numbers Only). Business Name is Unique.

Verify Email Account.

Setup the POS for Operations.
Point of Sale in Café & Restaurants can be implemented in 2 ways.
Without a Business POS Package
Use a 10" Android Tablet (Min Android 11). Goto Google Playstore and Download smartid CAFE.
Note: Android Tablet only have one Display. Order List and Total Bill will have to be shown from the Operator's display screen which is usually upside down. Nevertheless it is cheaper than a Business POS that comes with a Customer Display and preconfigured Receipt and Kitchen Printer.
With Business POS Package
Goto e-Store www.smartpos.my and purchase POS Device (SID-A100-P) + Optional Kitchen Printer (SID 80-PR). Follow the guide on "Getting Started".
Note: Palm Payment is Optional. All Payment can be done via QR Code, Credit Card or Cash.

Order Management
Waiter/waitress mobile ordering with geo-fencing to prevent fraud. Shows Table Order List, Order-IN, Order-OUT, Order SENT, Order CANCEL, Order PAID. Station management routes Kitchen, Drink, Dessert or Bar orders to the right station printer.
Operator Management
Create, edit, delete, and suspend POS system users. Schedule employees and clock employee attendance.
Secure Local & Cloud Backup
Every transaction saves locally and backs up to the smartid Cloud. If a POS is faulty or stolen, operations resume on a replacement device with data and settings restored on authorization.
Category & Sales Items Customization
Preset item categories and sales items, further customizable with item descriptions and item options.
Inventory Management
Track stock items, assets, and stock order lists, plus recipes — monitor order date, supplier, quantity, cost, expected delivery, and receive date.
QR Self Ordering
Self-order via QR code with geo-fencing to prevent fraud, showing the full order list to customers and staff.
Sales & Expenses
Annual, monthly and daily sales displayed to authorised users, with top-5 favourite items tracked, plus expenses by category to analyse cost of operation and net profit.
Reservation System
Enable or disable table reservations — supervisors can implement and manage customer reservations and monitor which tables are reserved.
Table Management
Generate a table QR code, assign the number of pax to a table, and monitor tables as Occupied, To Be Cleaned, Ready, or Reserved — or change tables as needed.
Palm Payment (Optional)
Palm payment is optional for CAFE — all payment can also be made via QR code, credit card, or cash.
